A change of pace from Baja and La Jolla
Wow, what a change of pace and some incredible fishing. Of the seven days I fished, I averaged 15 to 20 Trout per day. All fish (with the exception of a selected few were released) The highlights were a 6.13#, and two 3.5 # trout at Virginia lake, and a 7.4# trout at Lundy Lake. Along with the fishing my wife and I went on some incredibly beautiful day hikes into the Sierras. The longest being a 13 mile trek. Now it time to hit La Jolla for some YT and maybe BFT. P.S. A speacial thanks to "EastLosYaker" for turning me on the Virginia Lake as a destination for trout fishing and camping Photo #1: Two 3.5 #Trout Photo #2: 6.13# Trout, Photo #3,4,5, 7.4# Trout |

Is Virginia Lake stocked from fish farms? Those fat and broken tails look like they are trophy fish purchased seasonally from a fish farm.
