The 1/2 and 3/4 day boats out of both Seaforth Landing and Point Loma Sportfishing are excellent. They are kind of crazy right now as most trips have been selling out. If that bugs you, you might want to book something else. It doesn't bother me as usually the passengers are pretty cool and open to learning.
I did the twilight on the New Seaforth last week fishing for calico at La Jolla, really nice ride and only 27 people on the boat. Might be a viable option and you basically just need bass gear. I don't know if Sea World will still be doing the fireworks, but it was cool to watch as we were coming in. Have a great time! |

I'd hop on The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing.... if your looking to pay a little more with just you and your buddies, Seasons Sportfishing is THE best option you can take.

Greg will take care of you and your friends. You will need to see if the spot is open and reserve ahead of time. He can then make arrangements.
