No Tuna Tues at DP
Paddled out about 4mi in calm seas and light breeze and the temp read a constant 71* all the way from harbor. Unable to find a warm current (74* last Wed) and seeing no fishing boat clusters on horizon we turned back and enjoyed catching several big calico bass at the pipe. Talked to a boat returning to harbor w 2 dorado and 4 YFT that were taken much further offshore. They were just out of reach for kayaks today. |

I was out today and it was a show yellowfin boils and birds everywhere ..To many goons out running over schools of fish and sinking them out . Found a sweet kelp when I arrived there were two boats parked right on top of it,, they moved on . I stayed and
Tossed out a few dead dines from the tank few smaller blue Dorado leaped out from the kelp and took off guess it was there chance to excape the kelp rape .
