im all about the bass about the bass no treble

Went to newport this morning for some bass fishing and it was a good day. launched from coast guard station around 615a. The harbor was a lake with no wind and decent water movement. Pretty much worked the buoy line all morning. Ended up with 16 spotties and 1 sandbass with 4 legals in the mix. Biggest of the spotties was around 16-17". Bite died once the tide peaked and i left. Awesome way to start my 4th of July weekend. Tight lines everyone!
