Outback seat trouble

Hey guys I have an older outback with the hobie seat. The back support really isn't that bad but after an hour or two my ass is extremely sore. Is there any easy mod I can do without buying an expensive seat? Can I just use a cushion? I will probably buy a new seat if I have to but I would really prefer not to spend a ton of money

Thanks

I bought this seat pad.

I couldn't go out again without something soft after last week.

Andy at OEX showed me that seat just last week. It looks very comfortable, at least more comfortable than the one that I've been using for the last 4 years. I'm saving up my nickels and dimes to get one.

Hobie sells an inflatable air cushion that matches up with your seat back. All you do is remove the gel pad and install the air pad. My legs never went numb after that.

It's not cheap for an air cushion, but it solved my problems and the mod was clean. Plus, it's a Hobie, you have to expect $$

Cheap alternative that actually works very well...

A 7 dollar gardening kneeling pad from Lowes. Many guys use it and it provides a lot of extra comfort.

Rectangular about 10 inches by 18 inches or so.

Just stick it under on on top of your seat.

No air bladders.

Thanks for the info guys, I ordered a cushion that had good reviews. We will see how it goes I might post a review. If it doesn't work I'll eat the money and buy a better seat
