That's where I have mine. Traded in my 5 for a 7. 7 is obviously requires a larger ram mount. I like it.

Looks like I have one of the 1.5 wedge mounts, but only 1" universals in stock. West Marine usually has em in stock.

I got mine attached to the mounting boards via yakattack gear tracks. It allows easy adjustment of the settings on the go.

Thanks for the quick responses, I really appreciate the input. My dumbass probably would have bought the 1" ball and not realized it wouldn't hold sufficiently.
Now I might need to acquire a 50/200 transducer. Does anyone have an extra one or maybe want to trade for a hdi 83/200khz 855/400khz Transducer? |
