What would you use?
I have a PA 14 and a outback. WHAT IS A COST EFFECTIVE WAY TO CARRY BOTH KAYAKS SAFELY. I was just looking at all the different options on the "rack it" web site and it made me stop and think "hummmm, I'll bet the BWE guys know just what will work without spending $500 for all the options". Something clean and simple to use. Thanks(in advance) Tom. |

I carry a Pa 14 and a Revo on my crossbars, (Jeep Grand Cherokee). Cross bar pad from Fastlane and tie downs work for me.

I have carried my PA flat on top of the crossbars, with outbacks, tridents and even revos upside down on top of the PA strapped down. That seems to work pretty good.

If you have the tow package, get a t bar bed extension and load the pro angler on the bed, you won't break your back.

I do what Tony does when carrying a PA and outback but it's me and a very fit buddy and it's not easy but doable.. Lays and travels nicely..
Now given your situation don't see that working so bed extender is best option and cheapest.. |

If your going the cheap route, Harbor Freight bed extender sells for $80. Go in and ask them because they don't stock it on the shelf. Its in the back.
