Disclaimer for those new to the sport: A rain jacket/waterproof jacket is not the same as a splash jacket/ paddle jacket. The first two are great for the rain or having some water splashed on you while on or near solid ground. The second two are great when you are trying to get back into your kayak from the water.

yes, a RAIN JACKET. The way I use these for surf launch:
wear Kokatat dry pants over board shorts, tuck your shirt in, pull the pants as high as you can, wear a rain jacket over, go up to waist deep in water for surf launch, then launch, then peddle for a bit and get hot, then take dry pants and rain jacket off. Hang around in board shorts and whatever else you wish. |

LOL, did anyone get their jacket on time?
I ordered mine. It says delivered April 15th. I didn't receive it. Called Amazon and they're telling me it's been delivered to commerce, ca .... weird, I live nowhere near there. it was actually delivered to on trac shipping. which was never on trac to deliver to my home. anyway, amazon fixed the problem and next day shipped me a new jacket to my home address. should have it tomorrow. just wondering if you guys had the same problem. this is my first ever amazon.com order... never really ordered anything from them. im mainly an ebay user...

Amazon is awesome! It's not often that they screw up...they do unfortunately from time to time...but overall they do a fantastic job.

They fixed it fast! I was hoping for them to use a drone and deliver them in an hour. .. lol wishful thinking. Would have been cool actually.
But them fixing the problem so quickly, I love it!
