Rod storage in Tarpon 160

I was curious as to how rod storage is in a tarpon 160. Can I store a 8-9' rod away for beach launching and take outs?

Gracias

Andrew

Look at the New Threshers from Wilderness. Below deck rod storage and good in the surf. Awesome f/f mounting. My 9 foot rods fit.

I have the Tarpon140 and I strap all rods (usually 4) all together. The rod butts I put just under my thigh (not quite sitting on them) and the tips go toward the bow. I have a bungee cord I used (or the bow cords) to strap them down to bow. Get out about 100 yards and put them all in the rod holders with leashes.

My 9' rod extends past the bow a foot or so.

I land the same way - all strapped together.

Rods won't fit inside on my hull.
