First Tail off the Yak

Finally caught my first yellow off the yak last weekend. I have had luck with ghost and butts, always struck out on the mossbacks, not enough time on the water...I have caught plenty off boats, but never the yak. Well that changed. I went 2 for 2 up to 25lbs and left early to preserve quality of my catch. Caught on the blue tady 4/0 yoyo in 170ft on the bottom, stomachs filled with red crabs. I'm glad I got that yellow monkey off my Yak!

Thanks Andy for the motivation, I left my bait tank at home..

Thanks to Oscar for the OTW shot!

Great day OTW, Meet some cool people, in a triple hook up!

The sashimi was by far the best, something about these fish !

Orange and Yellow

Nice haul/hull! That color Hobie has to be one of my favorite. I wish they still produced kayaks in that color.
