After a good weekend of albie fishing with Mike on the "Gloryhull", it was time to return to the plastic. Day started out well....

...then got better. Trap rigged greenie gets hit. I thought it was hung on kelp for minute and gave a jerk. Popped free but felt suspicious, so I sent it back down. As soon as it hit the bottom it got whacked. Felt the headshakes right away and was pretty sure it was big and flat. Came up pretty easily and awaited the gaff hanging vertically. Stuck her in the shoulder and she just laid there while I stringered. Tried to lift her up for a pic when all hell broke loose. She beat the crap out of me and the yak and almost tipped me at one point. Finally got her back under control and she was done after that.

Weighed in at 44.8 on the OEX certified scale. Long and thick but a little narrow. YT was 25ish, long skinny male, blind in one eye.

Definitely would like to get one of those bigger model halis like you guys have been getting...will have to pass on the outfit thoughlol
Sorry Brad, couldn't resist....
