Go pro mounting advice?

What's up kayakers,
I'm about to mount my go pro behind me on my trident and wanted to get alittle
good advice on height and what hardware to use... Right now I have a flush mount Scotty mount and a 4' sprinkler riser.. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same kayak. I'm kinda ghetto with my mount. It's a 1 inch PVC pipe with some pipe insulation around it so it floats. Then I just put a PVC cap on it and used the GoPro tube mount that I already had.

For the price of your gopro, invest in what works. I had a friend with a DIY setup and it failed and cost ohm his gopro- I use Rammounts. Check their website and see the different options they provide. Rammounts.com
