La Jolla - July 1
My first time posting. I've been fishing North County for many years, however, all the pictures posted at this site attracted me to La Jolla. Thanks - in North County, I don't catch nearly as many "large" fish. I've fished La Jolla three times this season and caught two fish (pics below). Both were caught using a white iron. The sea bass I caught yesterday. The yellowtail I caught three weeks ago. I've greatly enjoyed fishing La Jolla. I'm used to fishing alone and have enjoyed having some other kayakers around. |

That is a huge ghosty! Congratulations on the Monster white. I had a thought when I saw the pic that it would be kinda funny if you are like 4'10"...that would be like a 20 lb. fish...or if you are 6'4" that thing is giant! But either way beautiful fish!
