Going out Sunday 4/27

Thinking about going out Sunday morning for a few hours before the winds pick up, but just not sure where to hit. Kings harbor has been pretty slow so I wanted to venture out to some new spots. Was thinking Marina Del Ray, Long Beach or even New Port. Any suggestions and insight on these spots?

Thanks

Man that's really tempting. Bit of a drive, but I'll see if my buddy is up to it. Was planning on leaving the Outback at home and taking the tandem so my pops can come along, so was just curious how far of a paddle out there to the fishing grounds? I'm assuming its not in the harbor, and it's suppose to be pretty windy this weekend, choppy waters.

Very close, but there is a period in there. He's just really excited the YT are "beating" right now!

I may be down for Sunday. Just a heads up my legs are going to be shot. I am doing a 50 mile charity bike ride on Saturday so I will be super slow(ER) than normal. I am thinking of fish Newport Beach.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie on here and I finally FINALLY picking up my kayak on Friday. My son's Birthday is Saturday so Sunday will be my first chance to use it. I was planning on Newport since it's the closest to me. Let me know if it's cool if I meet up with you guys. I surf fish Newport a lot and have seen a spot to launch right next to the public pier. Let me know if you guys want to meet up Sunday.

Never fished Cabrillo, thought about it as an option but haven't been hearing much action out of there and wasnt sure about the bait situation so opted for Newport, but we are down for anything if the fish are there. It would actually be a closer drive for us to Cabrillo.
