I have a nice Rogue Company custom trout rod 2-4# ultralight. I believe it's 7'6 but it might be 7' gotta check. I'd let it go for 80 or trade for something saltwater

Summer surf fishing is gonna heat up soon! I surf fish a lot more than yak fish, so IMO you probably won't need a big stick just for perches...
but nothing wrong to be prepared to get into big surf bruisers (corbinas, spot fin croakers, yellowfin croakers, leopard sharks, plus occasional WSB or corvina or halibuts) so it's good to be prepared....

Here are the rods I can part with:
1. A barely used (twice) Shakespeare UglyStik InterCoastal 8'6" (spinning, ICSP11862M, 10-20lb line), think i paid $80 for it... but you can have it for $40.
2. Brand new Cabela's 8'6" Tourney Trail IM7 Casting rod (TTCS865-2), retail is $65, yours for $35. I already have one and absolutely love this stick as my inshore/bay stick for bay basses.

As for reels, here are a few brand new reels still in packaging. let me know if you're interested in any of these:
3. Shimano Sahara 4000FD - $55
4. Shimano Sonora 4000FB - $50
5. Shakespeare EZCast (baitcasting RH) - $30

btw, i'm in SD and available to meet near LJ or Rancho Bernardo area.
