Kayak Seat Pads: The cheapest was the best for me.
This one is ok but kind of thin. http://www.amazon.com/Skwoosh-X3104-.../dp/B000A3I7IY This one is the worst I have ever used and the valve always seems to let out all the air rendering it useless during the day and also I don't like the way it feels when fully inflated. http://www.sportchalet.com/product/3...FY6Ufgod-h0AiQ This one is the cheapest and the best of the three to me. Cheap, comfortable, doesn't need to be inflated. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 What pads do you like to use? |

This is a good add on. Has stick on backing to stay in place and three different densities to choose from. http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/...eat-Pad/Detail

I have been trying the Thermarest one you linked from Sports Chalet. Mine holds air all day, no leakage at all. It's pretty comfortable once you get used to being an inch higher than normal and the extra movement you get from sitting on it. It also has to be strapped onto your existing seat if you want to make sure it doesn't slide around. So far it's better than any foam pad I've tried.

This one is my personal favorite, I've used it for two years now.

Bought this one due to having high hamstring tendinopathy (couldnt sit in my regular seat without feeling excruciating pain in my ass/hamstring):
http://www.amazon.com/Yakpads-Paddle...eywords=yakpad Worked really well for me. I like the 3 loops it has... makes it easy to strap down to the seat so it won't slide around. Plus, I think there is some grippy material on the bottom to further prevent it from shifting around. |

I cut what looks like a deformed pac-man out of the foam floor pad from Big Lots and put it under my normal seat. Made a huge difference and really cheap

Love, love..... love my Skwoosh. It makes my airseasports seat a dream to sit on. I have the larger one....Because I have a larger ass. It folds up and goes in the center hatch till I launch then I pull it out, situate it and put it back before I land. If I'm not surf launching i sit on it from the git go. |

I bought one of those gardening pads at Lowe's about three years ago, it works great but right around the 6th hour it starts to get slightly uncomfortable, at the 8th hr you begin to wish you called it a day at the 6th hr.

Buy an old boogie board at a garage sale. Cut out a circular piece. Use goop.
Your ass will love you. |
