anchor setup???
Thinking about buying one but I don't Know if it's worth the money. |

Depends on how you fish and where you fish. I have one and I think its beneficial when you are within about 25' or so and need to hold a spot

I use it a lot in freshwater to hold a spot over deep water while jigging for deep bass, holds 100ft of line, this is what has worked for me. Have also used this same set up while fishing North Coast rivers for salmon and holds great in current.
In the ocean itself I have never had a need to anchor except around kelp and that is easy to just tie up to the kelp itself. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info I don't fresh water fish
That much but I think I'm going to make One for fishing at the reefs in oceanside |
