irvine lake nov17

hey guys. hit Irvine lake today and was was pretty slow. from what i noticed is early morning has a good bite drifting a night crawler. i tried trolling a fire tiger and a baby trout up and down the west shore and in the middle of the lake woth no luck and spent most the day bouncin someoce tails around also with no luck lol! got skunked but still new to yak fishin but lovin it! i know alot pf u guys are gunna camp there soon so pick up some crawlers and get on that water early!!! good luck!

i was there last Friday...like you tried trolling didn't work at all so I anchored north side of Santiago flat about 10-20 ft used night crawler then coughs limit within 2 hours....

the good thing about irvine is they stock alot of quality fish but fri and sats get fish really hard! the last two sundays have been slow there for me but season just started so plenty of time to get out there and get em

Thank you for the detailed info. Greatly appreciated. Hope to get into a few next weekend. If the trout are not biting we will switch over to rum and cokes ....they always work for me.
