this was brought up in previous post
personally i would say the outback is a pretty solid boat . i have yet to see a mariner on the water yet . in the previous post i believe someone had tried it and was giving real world experience . i would think one negative would be the chair in the event of a roll over . good luck . i am bored , at home , drinking coffee and wish i were on the water .

Here is one of many posts on the forum , believe this is the one TJ was thinking of.
http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...native+mariner Also if he doesn't have his Revo any longer there is a clean one listed on San Diego's CL, guy lists it as a Revo 14. |

I have a Native 12.5 Mariner. I picked it up at OEX Mission Bay. I really like this kayak. I can go forward or backwards in it. I have taken it out the Kelp Beds pass O.B Pier and was very stable. It is a little bit light than the Hobie Angler. I have not tried the Hobie so it is hard for me to compare.

if you want it
i was listing it for 1100 cash , i believe . yes , i still have it . they are going for about 1300 cash . 1100 is a decent deal . my knuckle head friend bought some crap on internet that is made for still water . wait till he try's to take it through surf . i was thinking of keeping it . every time i sell something i regret it . he should have bought your kayak . let me know if you can't sell your's . i really don't know what it is worth , but i do know hobies have a good resale value . anthony .
