Geoji, Korea exploring...

Language barrier here sucks. Worse than Japan. At least I speak some Japanese there.... trying to figure things out, so decided to go to Geoje Island today and see what is around. Brought some krill (standard saltwater bait, like small shrimp), some light jigging stuff and some swimbaits for flounder (hirame/Asian California halibut).

Tides here are super fast and make things difficult. Didn't find anything to play on lures, except for a kisu (whiting), which I've never caught on lures before. Got a half dozen wrasse that I released and some other stuff.... mostly released, kept the kisu as they are delicious.

Nice bounty of Kisu there. Cut their heads off, butterfly them, season, and fry and you have a very tasty meal there.

Nice assortment of species there!

Thanks. A little disappointing that most of the species here are all the same fish I catch in Japan, but will see how it goes. Like catching new species but maybe will find something cool soon.
