Man, that is some quality catchin and eating right there. Haven't enjoyed fresh ono for a while. That kage puts those fish out like a light. I noticed even the big mahi just locked up after the hit. Mahi can be a serious PITA on the gaff, then off the gaff, in to the fish box, then out of the fish box, then all over the cock pit. Thanks for the vid. Mike

Your videos fricken' kill me, it seems you've got the best kayak fishing in the world, both with quality and variety of TOP-notch gamefish . As good as our gem is, La Jolla's got nothing on you.

Thank you all for the awesome replys!!! I know that I'm very lucky to live in Hawaii Nei, and if anyone can take a vacation here one day, give me a holler! I should have my extreme kayak fishing tour guide up and running and can put anyone on the same fishing expiercnces that I have. Mahalo and tight lines brothers!

Pound for pound... A yellow fin tuna will be the hardest fighting fish to fight! They will fight till the end! Wahoo's and mahi's usually gas out after a few runs and give up. Honestly, the 25# tuna fought twice as hard as the 36# wahoo in that video!

Thanks! I have a 7' fish bag with 40 pounds of ice in my hull, the access through the rod pod and front hatch is awesome on the trident! I can fit a tuna up to 60 pounds in my hull on ice, a couple of weeks ago I had five 25-35# wahoo's in my fish bag at once before I paddled back to shore to ice them in my 270 quart cooler. I know a lot of guys store their rods, tackle and other things in their hull, I use my hull as a cooler with a giant fish bag filled with ice. Lol

Awesome!!! Check out my buddy on Maui, he's one of the best fishermen and guides on that island! Check out his website "localfishingknowledge.com" and tell him I sent you to him... He'll hook you up and will put you on huge fish for sure!
