Looking to swap kayaks???

I have a 2012 xfactor which I would not mind swapping for a stealth 12
She's had less than 20 launches, no custom work....so it's a blank canvas. I lost 30lbs in weight and at 5'9 I think a smaller boat is better. Not in a huge rush, but for those who really need 600lbs of carrying capacity it's a great deal. Yak purchased from OeX mission bay.

The X-factor and Stealth boats are both made for heavier loads (I think they both have the same exact hull design, just a different deck layout) so you might find that even the 12 footer is not much easier for you than your current X-F. Have you test paddled one? Maybe a Prowler or some other yak would be better?

I'm not really interested in trading right now, but if you've never paddled an S12 you could come to DP and try out mine to see if it's really what you want.

Thanks for getting back to me, am doing some thinking as to the yak fishing I currently do and the fishing I want to do. It's the loading / unloading of the yak and being realistic that SD bay is going to be where most of my fishing is done. LJ is the ultimate goal but so far it's proved to be tough with work schedule to really get into devoted time there. Am thinking a 12' yak or thereabouts will be easier for me to handle

Sent you a pm, am going to demo a few yaks when I can and then see what would make sense for me to get into, I may just stick with what I have and figure a better loading / unloading system
