For the iPhone I like MotionX. Free or $.99. There is also iSailor but you need to purchase charts.
Fish alerts is good too. It doesn't appear to pre download maps so if you are on a data plan it will use that to get the maps. Navionics might be good as well but not cheap. |

I use NAVIONICS. If your worried about where to go in La Jolla and there is no one to follow out just ask someone. Even the kayak rental people will point which way to go and then once out there you will see everyone fishing. Easy!

I put this together, it has the La Jolla area on it. Very easy to use and works on both platforms IOS and android.
