Tidelands-no, Shelter Island-no, virtually unknown launch-yes!r
Where the train tracks go into SD Bay was empty and had tons of parking. I got up later than I wanted, my wife works today and she asked me if I could get up when she gets up for work. 5:30 is too late on Independence Day! So I had to use my hidden away option . Spotties played today as well as croakers. Have a great Independence Day, everyone! To all that have served and are serving, thank you for all you do and endure. Patrick |

That is a nice size croaker. Did it hit a grub?

Yes it hit the grub and fought very well
I don't have an umbrella rig. Just jigs and grubs or Z-Man shrimp that I used the last of today. I have to order more. The shrimp in Nuclear Chicken are awesome. Any guesses on the launch location? You can guess, I might not tell. |

Making it work, I like that. That's one funky looking grub. Fat body, super thin tail.

My reply is:
It was the Fourth of July, what could be a better named place to launch on that day. When you get back you can ask someone, how much will it cost to clean your catch for you. When I look around at the launch I remember the fifties, American made sports cars and meatloaf. Am I warm? P.S. My first job was in sight of that spot when I was in High School and after, until I had to quit when I was drafted into the Army. Go figure. Last edited by walrus; 07-05-2013 at 06:11 AM. |

the MASS of people/cars for miles around at Tidelands was unbelievable. i had to opt for Spanish Landing launch, as my final answer on that day.

I find that a few people here don't like guessing games. I think that it depends where you are in STATION of life. But I am glad we have the LIBERTY to play these games. We tend to RAMP up our curiosity and want answers at CORVETTE type speeds. When in reality we should take things slowly and savor the fun and laughs like you have at a DINER. So the NEXT time you are out and about slow down look around TO see what life and circumstances present you.

If you really want to know, paddle or pedal south bay. Read the clues, then take a long slow trip of discovery. See what's there, put it together. EXPLORE!!!! Learn. This works everywhere.
