Halibut rigs?

Alright I am fairly new to the Kayak fishing game. And brand new to the hali hunt. What rigs, baits, and leaders should I use for these suckers. I went last night and hooked up with a couple of keepers in O'Side harbor but as soon as I laid eyes on them they cut my line. Any help would be much appreciated.

Search is your friend.

There's more to it than just a rig...
Rig is your easiest part - just make sure it's close to the sand below.
