Fish Finder, Lowrance Elite-4x DSI
I am upgrading to a Lowrance DSI unit with a GPS. To keep things simple for me whomever buys this will get the new transducer and base. Also, if you're in the SD area I will be happy to help you install it. Jeff K 479-616-2511 http://www.lowrance.com/en-US/Produc...DSI-en-us.aspx |

Is the transducer a wet mount?

The transducer on my yak is in the water. Lowrance says that a DSI transducer should be mounted in the water for the best readings. However I've heard that some people have mounted it inside and get tolerable readings. I suppose that is a matter of personal opinion.

Changed my Mind
Sorry all but I've decided to keep this for now.
It is no longer for sale. Moderators should feel free to delete the thread Last edited by fearlessfiasco; 05-11-2013 at 09:27 AM. Reason: message for mods |
