List of routes
1.First one is the Dana to San Onofre paddle. We will launch at Doheney beach in dana point and take the approximate 10-12 mile paddle down to San Onofre power plant. Over there i was thinking we can do some sort of BB-Q or potluck at the landing site. There is multiple bail out points we can take if the paddle gets to hard and we cant continue. 2.Next up is the Seal Beach to Huntington Beach. We will launch from the Seal Beach pier and land at Huntington Beach pier. This trip will be about 10-12 mile paddle with multiple bail out spots. At the end of the trip, since we will land by the pier, I think we should eat at some restaurant over there. 3.Here we have a duplicate of the ULTIMATE HALIBUT ADVENTURE We will fish the three oil islands and around there. The whole trip should be around 10-11 miles. There is also multiple bail out spots on this trip and parking is close by at one spot so no shuttleing is required. At the end of the trip i also think we should go to a restaurant or have a potluck on the beach. 4.The last route is around PV We will launch from pescadero trail at point vicente and land at cabrillo outer beach. We can park the cars at Stephen White Dr and at the end go to Busy Bee to eat. The route will be around 10 miles. To launch we have to take a little walk downhill to get to the launch. It should take about 4 minutes to walk to the launch. What im asking from you guys is to choose a trip to take and help out with dates, food, rides, and planning. The trip would have take place in May, June, or July. So choose one you like and comment below. Thanks. -Art.

I'm an old fart.
Bad hip Bad knee Bad shoulder Bad attitude I don't know if too many guys want to take a goat trail to the water with their battleships. 10 miles in a straight line turns into 14 miles if you actually fish. Maybe make it a little easier for the whips like me. |

I'm liking dana pt to san-o. I'm not able to help with much besides transport. I can transport 6-8 yaks with my truck. No gear just boats.

These routes look like fun! I'm pretty sure the PV route starts and goes through the Point Vicente and Abalone Cove MLPA zone. You might move that route to start at Abalone cove instead, then it will be just a short paddle past the MLPA zone.
Good luck! Dan |

I'd be interested in the Long Beach one, but 10 miles is way out of my current league as I've only been hitting 1 island at a time (I'm a newb). I could definitely bail out at one of those points though.
If you're looking to hit a restaurant up after the LB trip I'd recommend maybe launching from Belmont Pier instead, and then you can just park the yak and walk straight into Belmont Brewery for some craft beers and food. |

+1. I'll bring the popcorn. But honestly, I didn't think we were allowed to even launch/land there for whatever reason.
