Need kayak for 2 months

This may be crazy but I thought I’d give it a try.

I want to start kayak fishing now, but I’m moving to Florida end of June. I don’t want to buy a new kayak and have to ship it across the country.

Is there anybody out there with a fishing kayak they would be willing to rent for a month or so? I would pay a rental fee, give you a security deposit.

I would keep the kayak safe in my garage out of the sun until I leave.

doesn't sound like a bad idea. i have a friend with a hobbie outback that he hasnt touched for 2 years. i can ask if he'd rent it out to you for a bit. not sure if he wants a big security deposit or not. how much would you be willing to put down as a deposit?

security deposit

I haven't thought about it. I would put down whatever he needed to feel okay about it. I was looking to rent it for about $200 a month.

That sounds great. Let's do it. Sorry to hear about your cast though.

Just sold My kayak or I would. This is a good place to look. There's a lot of really cool guys on here that would be more than willing to help someone get on the water.
