Malibu kayak X13 or stealth 12

So the parking lot sale came earlier than I thought and I wanted to pick up a shorter yak. I currently have trident 15 and like it a lot for its speed. And want to pick up a back up yak preferably shorter one for using it in the harbors and bay and occasional long distance. I'm 5' 8" and 185lb.
Between those 2 kayaks mentioned above, how's the performance in speed and trackability(?)? I had mini x and took it out once and I switched to trident because how slow it was.
I like the features in stealth 12 but is there a lot of trade off in speed compared to little longer X13?
Thank you for your help.

I have a stealth 12 that I got at last years sale and I love that thing. Its very stable and as can reach good speed and maneuverability. Its a little wider than most other yaks due to the bait tank in the center.

I love my X-13. It's kind of a smaller lighter Trident, almost identical in hull shape to the Trident 13.

Where the X-13 has the same bow shape and general characteristics of the of your trident, the stealth is blunter and wider with a front end more like a mini-x or x-factor. That makes it more stable, but also slower, especially into the wind, or into chop. They are nice yaks but not as fast as what your used to.

I'm 6'1" and 180 pounds, own six kayaks, and the x-13 is my favorite fishing yak. It's not as fast as your T15, but pretty decent. If you like the handling of your Trident you'll probably like it, and it's a lot easier to get on the truck.

I also have the trident 15. I'm picking up a S14 for a little more stability. These are great to stand up on in the bay and cast from.

I had an X13 and it was a very nice Kayak. Speed was nice, paddled true. The only thing I didn't like was the storage hatch behind the seat. It placed the bait tank and crate a little further back than I cared for.

Thank you all for your replies!
Makes the decision harder haha
How much of a speed am I losing over stability of the stealth 12? My old mini x was nice but it took me quite a while to paddle out to fishing ground.

The X13 doesn't have a storage hatch behind the seat, maybe you are thinking of the X factor. I love my X13, it is a lot faster than the stealth 12 with a much longer glide. By the way the X13 is almost 14 ft long (13ft 10 in).

You are correct sir. I had the X-factor.
