vail 3/24-3/25

Fished vail with a friend sunday. fished from 7 to 5. got maybe 25 fish between the two of us. I landed 9 of them, lost quite a few good one's and dave got the rest. all fish got the c&r treatment, one pic a wall-hanger for dave. he can post it if he wants.

Day two monday was a good day too. Fished from 9 to 1. just me and sunny on the yak and like 3-4 other boats on the lake. the water temp was 67, air was 82. it was a 12 fish day all lmb. mostly 1.5-2lbs with two nice one's 3.7 and 3.9. the two bigger fish put up a good fight and peeled a bit of line.

I had to remind sunny it's a c&r lake and we don't eat lmb's
