LJ reserve boundry gps #'s

Becuase it hasn't been posted (as far as I know) and is asked for frequently:
Here are the gps waypoints for all the reserve buoys. When all the buoys were present I paddled up to them and marked them. This should be helpful as a lot of people have been fishing INSIDE the reserve lately. Also as of right now the only buoy that is in position is Buoy C.

RB A
N32 51.204 x W117 16.235

RB B
N32 51.361 x W117 16.240

RB C
N32 51.915 x W117 16.228

RB D
N32 51.864 x W117 15.927

RB E
N32 51.842 x W117 15.652

Here is the map:

Thanks for the information, Tyler. I have the Garmin GPSMAP76CSX and with the blue chart software, the bouys are marked on the unit for me.

Great info Tyler!

One of the great quiet fishing masters once said:

Quote:
I've run into a few people fishing in the reserve. In each case, the people were unclear of the rules or boundaries and were quite willing to move on when they were told. I figure that the last thing the fishing community needs is people fishing in the reserve out of ignorance, and the radical environmentalists having more ammo to call for closures.

I couldn't agree more.

This map and numbers will definitely help.

I hope they put the yellow can back in place soon. I wonder who maintains them? Scripps?

Thanks for the numbers.

I'd like to see a show of hands of people that have dropped their sabiki down in the reserve on there way to the pier or point.. made a few pieces.. that's not really fishing

Here's the KMZ files for google earth. You can open them in Google Earth, or upload them to your Garmin GPS and they will display an overlay on the GPS map. Haven't made any others as I don't fish there...
