La Jolla 03.05.07 AM

Paddled out in flat surf at 0545 from the Shores.

Lots of birds, lots of boils. As it turns out, the YT were very finicky today. I tossed into
the boils of visible yellowtail without any luck on the YT.

Followed birds and current for a few hours and landed at noon.

Ended up with 5 barricuda on plastics and surface irons. Plastics also yielded me
a couple of calicos.

All fish were released.

Fritz, this might be a good day to look for your stuff... (this is meant as serious, not poking fun).

Sounds like yesterday, bait crashing the surface being pursued by cudas, bass ,and yellows. The yellows would come up and then gone quickly.

Iceman, nice video. What type of camera do you have there? Is it dead sticked in a front flush mount?

By the way, I'm especially touched by the gentle way you released that fish back it's brethren...

I dove the landing Sunday at dead low tide with no luck. I think someone from Nebraska has a pretty nice jig stick~
