Alright I know plumbing but not electrical so if anyone can tell me how I can manage my bait tank lights and other electronics from a switch board and where would I get one that would v helpful

in a sense, basic electrical isnt far from plumbing. aside from complex cicuitry, one can view voltage as pressure in a pipe, current would be like the flow rate and the pipe size the is sort of like resistance. way better than i could ever explain here. http://science.howstuffworks.com/env...uestion501.htm

Lowe's has waterproof switches for $8 and change that I mounted on my yak and my mom's and they work just fine. I bought my lights from West Marine and I bought insulated connections, marine heat shrink and wire from an electrical supply store- better prices than WM

just remember, the more you add the more that can go wrong, maintenance, etc. Best to go KISS (keep it simple stupid) when you are starting out. good luck.

For bait tank lights you can just hang or drop a chemlight or lighted bobber in the tank. I been using these for hoopin and have gotten more than Four 6+ hour outings on one set of batteries.

Mo Wires..... Mo problems...... I had some lights mounted for those early spring 2am mornings, but even with the best attemps the corrosion still won...never a problem at the battery box, just to the lights themselves,
Headlight works more better and after 2 seasons back to basics..and no mo problems...

Get a few contura rocker switches (waterproof) and wire those up with inline fuses rated for the proper draw. Use heat shrink connectors and use cord managers to organize the wires and keep them out of the way.

pocoloco i agree but i donthave a fish finder and i am going to need that im sure so what type of fishfinder and im totally new to all this maybe we can mmeet out there and you can see what im dealing wit
