That link has a bunch of them. Do you know if they are all compatible with the Hobies??? Or which one(s)....can't believe Hobie doesn't have a top shelf model

I have one from the above mentioned vendor. Storage is nice plus the rod holders. You may need to install padeyes behind seat.

I'm sure most afermarket seats will fit on the Revo. They won't go into the plugs on the bottom of the seat, but you can attach them with front and rear straps like a traditional kayak seat. You may need to add 2 Pad Eyes behind the seat to attach the rear buckles, but with the adjustable rear straps you can probably just add it on & avoid doing any sort of modification.
Here is a Surf To Summit seat on my Hobie Adventure. No modifications needed to eitehr the seat or the kayak. It would probably be the same on the Revo. Surf to Summit makes a very high quality seat, and that is where I'd start my search. Go see OEX and try a few seats on their Revo's I'd bet you will find a few that will work |

pre 2013 could use these pegs on most after market seats to keep the seat in place. Just make the holes with a soldering iron or heat up a screw driver

I had a outback that I put a Surf To Summit seat on and it worked out great. I am not sure if a revo has a narrower seating area then a outback thow.

nobody mentioned
the upgrade for stock hobie seat. you can add a liner / air cushion , to stock seat which will improve seat dramatically . this will make it as good as any after market seat . iceman can give part # and price. i would highly recommend it . and of course ice will take care of you.

Hobie only makes the air/foam pad. I have used it and found it adds alot of comfort. $50 plus shipping http://www.skwoosh.com/product/kayaking/P1104.html

Air seat
I use this :
http://www.amazon.com/Thermarest-Lit...hermarest+seat Loop with some bungee cord to the stock seat, or epoxy a strap under this air seat to the stock seat, cheap and comfortable. |

the 50 $ upgrade
well worth it. although the one suggested by bus is nice . you can crap your shorts on open water , and not have to worry about dumping the chutes or getting a rash.

So between these two seats what do people think? The factory Outback seat is ok but it seems a little low on my back and I always seem to be squirming for a comfortable position. I had a surf to summit on my Fish N Dive and it was very comfortable.
