If it's the newer one with the locking hatches and the slide rails, definitely. I'm only guessing here, but if it's not one of the newer ones it's probably still a good price. If it's in good condition and has accessories.

Someone posted a good suggestion for buying used yaks. Stick your head inside, if it smells stinky and moldy it probably has/had a leak. This is one I would definitely try before I buy. Where this gets tricky is if the person does a lot of surf launches where water can get inside the best yaks.

That was me that mentioned smelling the inside of the Kayak. Every time I am done with my kayak for the day I leave the bow hatch off to allow it to air dry just like all my tackle boxes and stuff. I recommend leak testing any used Kayak you are thinking of buying. The Kayak I have now is always dry inside when I get done. For $500 I bought a great kayak. Sounds like $400 is a great price on a Tarpon 140

$400 is more than fair for the 140 if it is in decent shape. They sell for $975 new. Check the keel for wear.

these are priced too high in my opinion. I tell people to expect to pay 1/2 the price of new on most kayaks that are in decent shape but obviously used.

Overpriced for the cobra and fair for the tarpon. Thanks for the heads up meeting the guy tomorrow.

I'm guessing on this but I have a feeling someone bought a kayak today. I just went to check the link and it's not available to look at anymore.

I noticed there was a new link of the same Kayak and asking for $200 more. I think she priced herself out of a sale. Honestly someone must have told her to increase the price. There's nothing to the kayak and she wants $600? Personally I would by Danjor's Kayak for $500 if I were you.

Ya she sold the cobra first and i gess the person said the price was way low so she looked them up and decided on 600 doll hairs.

Who ever told her the price was low, I'm gunna punch you in the dick!

Her kayak she can do as she pleases, it was her husbands who passed away, maybe more to it than money!
Lots of kayaks out there at some good prices,DJ T15 is one of them.

Just narrow it down to what ya want and what it's worth to ya and keep looking it will show up!

Xmas was just yesterday, I'm guessing some guys upgraded to their dream yak and more will hit the market next week when the holidays settle out.

I just helped a friend get a killer deal on a 2012 Stealth 9 with upgraded seat, paddle and new PDF for $400, she'd been looking at mini-X's for more money but loves the storage and extras she got for a simple phone call and hours drive up the road. The seller bought himself an xmas Hobie PA.

i'm still looking but my Doc's will have the final say
