These are not as popular as they once were however the situation can best be fixed by using turn-buckles to tighten the tank down against the hatch so that the gasket is somewhat compressed. Also be sure that the tank is draining through a hose and not just running down the side of tank and into hatch.

Ok that makes sense now... I bought it used, there is no gasket. Ill be sure to post pics of how I fix it.
