^ Ditto... saw you on the sand being quite the celebrity as I was getting ready to launch. Looked way bigger in person.

Ate a sardine on the bottom. Such a great fish. As everyone knows, it takes many returns with nothing to finally get it all right. This day, the fish hit the right rod and swam the right direction. It all lined up and thankfully, I got him.
Good people here have passed positivity my way every time I paddle out. Thanks for all the good posts that kept me going out till I got one.

With that being said, you deserved that nice fish. Congrats. The best thing I have noticed with this site is peoples willingness to help fellow yakers/fisherman with info and encouragement. Keep up the good work.

I watched you from afar as you got the fish into your lap, and with no one around you, you had the moment all to yourself. You threw out this fist pump that reminded myself, and I'm sure many other kayakers of their first big catch. Even from 100 yards away your stoke was radiating...thats what it's all about. Congrats man, nice fish.
