PA 12 and Outback new option

You can swap out the "tackle management" for the rec bucket for $20 on the PA 12 center hatch. You can also replace the round 8" on the Outback with the rec hatch, add the bucket, hardware and free install for $120

Could you make it fit a revo, or is there some super secret squirrel stuff in the works worth waiting for?

Very interested in the conversion of the center hatch on the Outback. Would the PA tackle system still work on an outback? ie. the fold out trays.

Is the deep bucket actually sturdy, because the one for the Outback is too flimsy when you put some weight in there.

Holy crap..... a few weeks ago I was talking to the boys about doing something like this on my outback. Does an authorized retailer need to do the work in order to keep the hull warranty active or can this be done as a DIY job?

This would not fit the Revo, the tackle management could be added to the Outback and this box could be loaded down with lead. Angles=structural strength. You could install yourself. Warranty in tact

I have the hatches/ tackle management racks and the buckets in stock.

I will soon have a little less PA envy! Great post, I'll be coming in for parts when I can get down that way.

dimensions please, also i *think everyone is curious if the lip on the new bucket is sturdy enough not to drop through the open when it has a lot of weight in it. the outback deep bucket can be PITA.

11X14 3/4 is the outer dimension. Once I install one in an Outback I'll post it up.

It will hold some weight.
