Order to HAWAII!!!

Just Got Order To HAWAII!!!!!! Anyone got any advise for Kayak fishing out there?

yeah you will need a bigger boat...watch out for the taxman...
wow, congrats on the move, I am sure there are lots of beautiful areas kayak fishable there...can't wait for the pics and reports

My brother is stationed out there. He kayak fishes out there as well. Which island are you going to? My brother is on Oahu, over at Scholfield Barracks. He does a lot of peacock bass fishing and a little saltwater. He mainly spearfishes in the ocean.

Keep a look out for GWS and even more so, Tiger Sharks out there. I have friends who kayak fish out there regularly and have developed a deep respect for the "ancestors."

tiger on the yak! doo ittt! also they get marlin and swordfish a couple miles from shore and plenty of articles on guys catching them in the yak and some other huge fish.
