If you can make it, when you get onto the Island go to the left had side. There's parking right on the sand. We'll be in a red Nissan p/u.

Are you launching across from the Bahia? Trying to picture where you're launching from but can't picture a spot where you can drive on the sand and launch a kayak.

Sorry. You can't park on the sand, you back up to it (there might be a small grass strip before the sand). It's on the same side of the bridge as the launch ramp, but you go left instead of right (this leads to the launch ramp) when you turn off Ingram St. Does that make sense?

Is this the spot you are talking about?

Tide will be bottomed out at 5:55am on the rise to a peak at 12:18pm.

That's the spot. Please do join us. The tide couldn't be any better and hopefully the fish will know that too.

Looks like we'll be there closer to 5:30 than 6:00. Look forward to putting some faces to names.

Going todo my best to be there, wish I could have made the yakfest but hopefully next year! I will be in a silver focus with an ivory/dune outback balanced on the roof!
