i dont know much about big kayaks (i'm only 5'7 and 140lbs). but i heard alot of good things about the Cobra fish n dive. that's an option. and i'd say stay clear from the scrambler, scrambler xt, and scupper pro. those kayaks are real narrow.

Another option for a good paddling kayak is the Wilderness Systems Tarpon. Both the 140 and 160 meet your requirements.

I have a nice trident 15 for sale. The tridents are nice and fast due to being so long i belive 15 feet 11 inches is what mine measures (idk why they didnt just call it a 16 lol) they are narrow but still have stability. Also has the rodpod which is nice for landings for your poles and the sonar shield seems to keep the fishfinder dry in wet surf launches.

Get an adventure and just don't plug in the mirage drive.
![]() Tarpon 160 is pretty fast. Just keep in mind with speed comes a lost of stability.

Trident
I love my trident 15. Punches through the surf great and is easy to handle during landings. My only gripe with it is the bow is far away for those of use that are 5'9" to 6'. Be sure to use longer rods so that you can clear the bow.

A x factor would be perfect for your size, stability is great but u sacrifice speed. Well worth it if your not in a hurry

I'm 6'2", 250lbs. I liked my T140 and am saving for another. Faster than the Xfactor and plenty stable. It does lack the inside storage between the legs of the Xfactor or the Ocean Kayak boats.
