11/25 Am I a bad person...
There was some surf today :bounce:. Great show watching the tourists. I would have liked to have posted some pics of some homeguards, but I couldn't find them. These will have to do.

That is so much fun. Before we had Kayaks we use to get big old inflatable military rafts and go out to the the silver strand on a close out day and just get killed. It was a blast. My kids tell me thats where they got over the fear of the surf and the ocean. We still do it with the kayaks but not so much anymore.

WOW!!! Action photos at their best. Nice work, good for a laugh.
On a day when the fish didn't cooperate for us, we got something worth reading and seeing. Thanks, Tyler.

Did you notice? Some of the tourists were wearing sunglasses. Hard to believe
they didn't lose them. Your only bad for keeping what you find. Other than that.... I love those catapult shots. |

Those are fantastic...that one guy looks like the little spinning fairy on the top of my daughters jewlery box!!! Last time I was a tourist down there we watched the same show...super entertaining. Kinda amazing that no one gets really hurt.

Those pics don't make you evil... however, what you were really lying in wait for was a photo-op of a kayak fisherman coming in for a wipeout landing. Posting THAT would have really been evil.
P.S. - sorry to disappoint 8) |

Tyler, did you shoot the series of 3 in the middle with a "burst"? I missed a really good catapault shot last time, wish I had thought to shoot a 10 shot burst......lika a comic strip
The report makes my lack of OTW time a little more manageble

My camera has a burst mode. It takes constant pics as long as I hold down the button, although the quality lessens somewhat. I have found burst mode works great for getting shots of speed bait, dolphins, and other action shots. I cropped all those photo's becuase there was too much other crap going on which is why they look a little blurred.
I would not post a pic of another fisherman getting dumped, unless it was someone I knew really well, I would however still take the picture. Here is the rest of the sequence for the solo wipeout: and the uncropped version of the first wipeout: And yes I realize that the next time I get dumped one of you will have the camera ready and get the pics and post them.

Great photos! That was enough motivation for me to check my cameras to find where the burst mode settings were!

We eat jeffs burgers sometimes after the mornings fishing and watch the tourist wipe outs, but i haven't witnessed any that good. We thought about holding up score cards but that might be ...well just evil. If i did have the score cards you'd have some 10's there.
