It would be a long paddle for you guys but it would have been worth it today. I fished in the big skiff with clients, dad, with kids 5 and 8. We hooked 6 and landed three 12lb. class models. Outside Bird Rock in 180'. Water temp. 66 and blue. One on the surface iron, two on sardines. Lost a yo- yo fish and two bait fish. Also a mix of small and large Bonito inside at 85' The sporties got on them first and there were lots of bent rods. It was a nice pre Thanksgiving treat and a tremendous experience for my group from Colorado. Happy Thanksgiving to all. The fat lady wasn't singing today.

Thanks. I'm gonna take a look out there Saturday. I saw a bait boat (I'm pretty sure with my binoculars) about 2 miles off Bird the day Andy launched.
