That sucks and I have had the same thing happen to me. I didn't want to offend by double checking his knots and we lost a big YT to knot failure. Thats one of the things I like about kayak fishing; generally if you loose a fish it's our own fault. I feel WAY more confident and comfortable gaffing my fish with one arm then gaffing a buddy's trophy. Mike
