Out Riggers...

When I come back from the east I was thinking of getting some out riggers for my hobie revo. But is it really worth it?

I wanted out riggers like the adventure but only found http://www.oceansidediveandkayak.com...trigger/Detail

$335!!! Geez, get a pair of Scotty rocket launchers, mount a couple ball mounts on the yak and make your own with 1 1/2" PVC and lobster floats like I did.

Would like to see how those lobster floats handle the surf.

Talk to Ron at Fastlanes. I talked to him about them in the past and told me they where in the $175 range.

If you need training wheels to handle surf you should stick to the bay...

Outriggers = Overrated

IMHO, they'll be more trouble than they are worth. What makes you think you need them?

I have a set and you can have them for $ 50.00 , First I have to check and see if all the parts are there. I will take a picture.

They didn't work out for you.
I'm on the east coast right now. Heading back at the end of the month.
If you have all the parts. I might give you a call when I come back west.

I want these so when my son is whit me I'm more at ease of him moving around.
