How long can you hold keep your fish for?
Picked up rock cod on Friday morning. I'm leaving to go to the East Coast Tuesday-Sunday. I just put the fish in a Salt/Lime/Water seasoning brine. Do you think I should freeze it before I leave or will it still be good when I get back?

I heard 48 hrs is safe for the fridge but past that is not safe. Just smell it for fishy smell and gooey texture.. if it has those then its not good.
