Comfort mod for Hobie w/Bait Tank

Towards the end of the day today I opened the bait tank on my Outback, grabbed a fresh dine, and sent him to the bottom to find me a flattie.

I sat back and all of a sudden I was experiencing a comfort I hadn't felt before.

The hatch only closed half way, and provided some appreciated back support.

Ok, not a mod, but a discovery?...

I bet someone smarter than me could design a hatch that provides some serious back support. Maybe it would be on a hinge so when you open the tank it would go up instead of back.

I'll try it again when I'm fresh next time. Maybe I was just over sunned and worn down after peddling all day and any seating change would have offered relief.
