Pretty don't catch fish on the 18th of Aug.
Hit 60'-70' in front of the condo and soaked the bait and threw the iron for about 45 min, until a "sport boat" parked on me (no biggie) . Paddled back in to 45'-50' alittle north of the condo and was there 10 min only to have them park on me again (they think I know where the fish are or what?). Alrighty than, pulled back about 100 yards and worked their chumline for 5 bonito, 3 barries, and 3 calico's, all on the iron, thanks guys:appl: . They kept the 5 knottheads away from my kayak. I got to see them eat acouple of their fish, and had the pleasure of smelling those tasty boat burgers. Wish they'd sell them like the roach coach. That's about it, the ocean was like a mirror, weather was nice, and everyone out there behaved like true fishermen. Handed of the remaining 10 macs I had, and landed @ 10am. Did'nt see anyone with any fish, and from what I hear from those on the beach, I did pretty good. Had a great breakfast at the beach and headed back to hell (I mean Hemet) Took this on the paddle in to show how nice it was out, cause we all like visuals. |

Thanks for the report! That is an interesting rod holder contraption...do you have any blue prints? I am looking to rig some forward rod holders on my kayak too.
