Photo report from Costa Rica
Chris Lewis with a nice Jumper Jim with one of the few that was small enough to land solo Joe Lynberg with a nice size Tarpon getting a landing assist from Jim Steve Jurries gets a big one to the kayak Someone asked me if these fish pull hard. The answer is YES YES YES and YES They also love to jump right next to the kayak. I actually had one jump and land on the forward deck of my boat. And if the fish are not biting, it's not a bad place for a paddle

Wow - looks like an incredible trip.
Nice sized tarpon - I'm guessing in the 150 lb neighborhood? |

We caught fish anywhere from 75-150 pounds with the majority of the fish in the 130 range. Pretty incredible fishery.

Nope no sharks, didn't even see many, unlike in Florida where we saw several Tarpon get destroyed by big bulls and hammerheads.

Awesome Jim. Glad to see you made it to the Silver King Lodge. Your photos bring back some great memories. Truely a first class operation. I have 5 friends down there right now and I can't wait to go back myself.

Yeah great trip, thanks for suggesting Silver King as a location a couple years ago. Took time to make it happen but well worth the wait. Thanks again.
