Lowrance vs Garmin - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Need some help:

Lowrance HDS 5/7 or Garmin 545S???

I have had 'all' Lowrance's in the past and never had a problem, nice clarity, etc., but the resolution on the Garmin is supposed to kick tail.....Just want some feed back.

I do love my HDS but i have worked with some high quality Garmins and have to say that they have very nice qualities. The clarity is excellent and the adjustments are easy to make. I wouldn't change my decision I love my HDS a lot.
